She-mah Yis-ra-el A-don-ai Elo-hay-noo A-don-ai ek-ad
Hear 0 Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One.

Ba-rook shem ke-vod mal-koo-to le-olam va-ed
Blessed is His name, whose glorious kingdom is forever and ever.

Ve-a-hav-ta et A-don-ai El-hay-ka
Love the Lord your God

be-col-le-vav-ka oo-ve-col naf-she-ka oo-ve-col me-odeka
with all your heart, and all your soul, and all your might.

Ve-hay-oo ha-da-var-im ha-aleh asher anoky mtz-av-ka ha-yom al-le-vav-eka
These words that I command you today shall be upon your heart.

ve-shi-nan-tam le-va-ney-ka ve-di-barta bam
Repeat them to your children, and talk about them

be-shiv-teka  be-vey-teka  oo-ve-lek-tika  Va-derek  oo-ve-shok-beka  oo-ve-koo-meka
when you sit in your home, and when you walk in the street; when you lie down, and when you rise up.

oo-ka-shar-tam lot al ya-deka
Hold fast to them as a sign upon your hand,

ve-hay-oo le-totafot bayn ay-ney-ka
and let them be as reminders before your eyes.

oo-ka-tavtam al-me-zoo-zot bey-teka oo-vi-sha-reyka
Write them on the doorposts of your home and at your gates.
